Real Madrid are preparing a huge offer for Liverpool star Mo Salah this summer, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The Egypt international was in remarkable form for Liverpool this season, scoring 44 goals in all competitions and helping take Jurgen Klopp’s side to the Champions League final, where he was taken off injured after half an hour.
Don Balon claims that Real have opened talks with Salah’s representatives over a potential move in the upcoming transfer window.
They go on to state that Los Blancos are readying a huge bid to tempt Liverpool to sell, though any possibility of Salah arriving at the Bernabeu may depend on Gareth Bale.
Real will only move for the former Roma winger if Bale leaves the Spanish capital this summer, the report claims.
The Welsh international is a reported transfer target for Manchester United, though recent speculation suggested that a deal could cost the Red Devils up to £335million.
Bale sparked a frenzy after he scored a brace in the CL final, stating after the game: “I feel I should be playing week-in and week-out and I haven’t been.
“I haven’t been playing as much as I would like and I’m going to have to sit down in the summer and seriously think about what move I’m going to make next.”
