A famous Sunday in the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, is the first Sunday in the month of June every year.
This is the ONLY SUNDAY of the year set aside for the Juvenile Harvest, the Celebrations of the Celestial Children the world over.
In fact in most cases activities usually commence in the last Sunday in the month of may when children are put in charge of Revivals.
They conduct both Wednesday devotional Service at 6 o clock in the evening, Friday's power day service.
They also partake in Sports and Games,Picnics, Drama Presentations, Bible Quiz, Psalms citations, traditional fashion parade,choregraphy, Dancing and Music Competitions etc where prizes and certificate of participation are distributed to all.
These are somee of the programs organised by the Juvenile Harvest Committee always set up two months to the harvest week to develop all the children Spiritually and to also prepare them for future tasks in the physical world
As part of the church doctrine, The late Pastor founder Saint Samuel Bilehou Joseph Oshoffa emphasised the importance of Children harvest in the CCC Constitution.
Ever since, First Sunday in June has been dedicated to Round up the children harvest with Special Thanksgiving to God for the gift of children to all Celestial family wherever they may be worldwide.
Concidentally this is also the week of the Children's National Day is Celebrated by the federal government of nigeria.
The day's programmes are conducted by the children from the beginning to the end. The boys and girls also act as Onibodes, the People's Wardens or ushers
Usually, each parish comes up with its own theme for the harvest.
The children also perform as choristers for the week.
All The Shepherds-in-Charge of churches or Parishes the world over also know this dedicated service for children in CCC is to appear before God with them and show gratitude in all ramifications for God himself to take care of the children throughout their lives.
From the praise and worship session, ushering and technical group, to the preaching and sanctification of the day, the children will showed how grounded they are with the doctorines of the church. All these are done in the presence of their parents and visitors alike.
A significant aspects of the harvest is the conglomeration of the attendance of young couples especially women looking unto God for the blessings of God or what is famous as fruits of the womb.
They never missed the juvenile harvest period to give to the children, while praying that soon, their own children would also be among those that will celebrate the harvest.
The Book of Proverbs was all about teaching our children to walk on the right path for God to protect and also bless them in their endeavours.
