Top Intel Source Debunks Buhari’s Claim Of Gaddafi Arming Fulani Herdsmen

BREAKING | Top Intel Source Debunks Buhari's Claim Of Gaddafi Arming Fulani Herdsmen                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 An Intel source has debunked President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that the ongoing killings by alleged Fulani herdsmen in various parts of Nigeria were the handiwork of late Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi.
Recall that Buhari, while speaking with the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury, His Grace Justin Welby on April 11, 2018, had said that the herdsmen killings Nigerians were members of militia trained and armed by the late Gaddafi.
According to Buhari, “The problem is even older than us. It has always been there, but now made worse by the influx of armed gunmen from the Sahel region into different parts of the West African sub-region. These gunmen were trained and armed by Muammar Gadaffi of Libya. When he was killed, the gunmen escaped with their arms.
In a rebuttal, verified intel source and twitter personality, @DonKlericuzio in a series of tweets tore to shreds the claims by Buhari. His tweets read; ” I would not want to dwell extensively on this but just to shed a little light answering a few questions thrown my way about ongoing Massacres around the River Benue valleys in Nigeria & late Gaddafi’s link to this.                                                                                                                                                        “The Peul/Fulani Militia invasion of towns & communities on the plains & valleys surrounding the River Benue from Numan, Obolo, Awe, Dekina etc are not late General Muammar Gaddafi’s mercenary group called “The Islamic Legion” or the later recruits rushed into libya during the February 17 revolution as claimed by Nigeria’s President Mohammed Buhari.”
” Late Gaddafi is known to have recruited several Africans from the sahel, Sahara and even sub-sahara Africa fight in his corner before and during the February 17 Revolution.
Among Tribes recruited are mainly Tauregs, Toubou’s, Sahrawi’s, Zaghawa’s, Tama’s etc.”
” The Peul/Fulani as a group or individuals refused joining his force as hired guns despite the very handsome pay. This is because Gaddafi has always been on the side of their longtime rival’s & perceived oppressors, the Tauregs & Zaghawas.”                                                                                                                                                                        ”On the renewed River Benue Killings currently ongoing in Nigeria, intelligence we shared (cleared for public) with international organisations & major intelligence agencies points to nigerian based elaborate Peul organizational groups & individuals with strategic interests in economic/ethno/religious/politics which engaged the help of several Peul/Fulani militias and armed groups across west & central Africa.”
“Among these is the CAR Bakala based militia group Union Pour la Paix en Centrafrique (UPC) led by warlord Ali mahamat Darassa.
Formerly associated with the Seleka rebel group, they receives payout through cigarette smuggler Ousmane Zaidou and tchadian fixer Tidjiana Ahmat for experienced hands for the Nigerian cause.”
“Also, some Peul/fulani members of radical movements like The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara #ISGS in the Mali/Niger border and Mokhtar Belmokhtar’s al-Murabitun islamist movement are been poached to nigeria but some having deviated to form groups for Kidnapping, Banditry & Cattle rustling in majorly Hausa Communities of NW Nigeria.”                                                                                                                                                                     “Suffice to say, many Peul/Fulani herders in have suffered killings in hundreds & arson from indigenous groups on reprisals.”
“Finally, As the Nigerian government is working to nip this growing insurgency in the bud, haste should be made.
Ethnic nationalism & religious radicalism now taking hold of traditional Peuls should not be allowed to fester as this might lead to a civil war in that country.”
