Egyptian Salah wins PFA Award

Egyptian hitman Mohamed Salah of Liverpool fc has won the Player of the Year Award by England’s Professional Footballers’ Association.

The 25-year-old tops a six-man shortlist, voted for by PFAmembers from the 92 Premier League and Football League teams, that also included league title winners in Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and David Silva.

Sane did, however, win the Young Player of the Year award while Fran Kirby of Chelsea Ladies was named women’s Player of the Year.

The Egyptian goalpoacher had earlier added the BBC Africa footballer's Award to his kitty.

He also led his Egyptian National team the Pharohs to pick ticket to Russia 2018 world cup in June.
