Barcelona draw up HUGE transfer plan in case Real Madrid win Champions League

BARCELONA have reportedly drawn up a masterplan in case Real Madrid win the Champions League this season with Pique at the heart of it.                                                                                                                                                                                        The Catalan giants are set to claim the La Liga crown and are favourites to win the Copa del Rey against Sevilla later this month.

But according to Diario Gol they fear being overshadowed by Real Madrid, who can claim their 13th success in the Champions League and their third in as many seasons.
They reached the semi-finals after Cristiano Ronaldo’s controversial stoppage-time penalty saw them lose 3-1 to Juventus on Wednesday night but progress 4-3 on aggregate.
And they take on Bayern Munich over two legs of the semi-finals with Liverpool contesting the other semi with Barca’s conquerors, Roma.
The Italian outfit came from 4-1 down in the first-leg to win 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in mid-week, Barca humbled by Roma’s intensity and energy.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol report that Barcelona defender Pique has been in contact with the club’s board of directors, including Josep Maria Bartomeu, to prepare in case their bitter rivals succeed in Europe again this term.
Having announced Lionel Messi’s new contract to dampen Real’s success over Juventus last season, the club are planning a huge signing to take the attention off any potential Los Blancos triumph.
The big-name signing they have lined up, according to Diario Gol, is Atletico Madrid front-man Antoine Griezmann.                                                                                                                                       The Frenchman has long been linked with a move to the Nou Camp and is said to have a £87million release clause.
Pique and Barca believe the signing of Griezmann would help to eclipse Real’s continental joy.
That’s because Ernesto Valverde would then have a front-line comprising of Messi, Griezmann, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele as they target domestic and European glory next term.
Barca - who remain unbeaten in La Liga - are 15 points ahead of Real Madrid. If they win their next three matches, a draw against Real when the two teams meet on May 6 at the Nou Camp would be enough to mathematically win the league.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Please allow a moment for the live blog to load
