Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazettecan play upfront together for the Gunners.
Following the former's arrival in north London for a club-record fee back in January, question marks surrounded the Frenchman's place in the team despite his summer arrival from Lyon.
Lacazette, who underwent knee surgery back in February, made his return for the team in yesterday's 3-0 win over Stoke and added a late penalty following a double from Aubameyang.
With the French international changing the game upon his introduction, Wenger feels that the pair can play in the same team together instead of electing to leave one out.
"I think Aubameyang played a long part of his career on the left at St Etienne and in the first two years I think when Lewandowski was at Dortmund.
"After that, when Lewandowski moved to Bayern Munich he played central."
Having made his first appearance for the team since the 1-0 defeat against Spurs in the north London derby, Wenger admitted that it will take Lacazette a few more games before he is back to full fitness. "He’s still lacking a competitive edge a bit," added Wenger. "He has been out for two months, he worked hard.
"He still lacks a fraction maybe. In training he looks sharp.
"How long can he last in a game? I don’t know. "He needs one or two more games."
