AFRICA VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2018:
Egypt's Ahly have won their 9th African volleyball Crown.
The egyptians maintained their record and won their ninth African club championship title in style after beating holders Morocco's Carthage 3-0 (25-9, 29-27, 25-8) the final match played at Ahly hall on Thursday. This is Ahly ninth title in the history of club championship and that makes them the most successful club in history.
 
 After the final CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani along with Ahly President the legend soccer palyer Mahmoud Alkhateeb honoured the winners with the gold medal
 
Pipeline stunned Prisons in all Kenyan derby with a 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 25-22, 27-29, 15-11) victory in the bronze medal showdown. KPC improved on their last year ranking from fifth to third whiles prisons now drop one place to fourth.
 
Rwanda Revenue Authority completed their campaign in the women’s African club championship with position five following their 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-14) victory against Bafia from Cameroun. Bafia finished sixth position.
